RAF Pilots Have Tried to Blast UFOs

The UK Sun reports, Nick Pope — who worked on the Ministry of Defense’s UFO desk for three years — claims RAF pilots fired at UFOs on several occasions — but failed to bring them down. He added: "We know of cases where the order has been given to shoot down — with little effect to the UFO." Mr. Pope said the rules of engagement were drawn up after dozens of close encounters with suspect craft in British airspace. RAF attacks on UFOs were "not automatic but happen when something in our airspace is deemed to be a threat". He explained: "In the case of UFOs, whether the object is causing a threat is very much a (pilot’s) judgment call." Mr. Pope, said the "shoot down" orders had been issued under the highly-classified directive since the beginning of the 1980s.

When a UFO is thought to be threatening a country’s airspace, the drastic action has been taken. He said: "There was a faction in the MoD who said ‘We want to shoot down a UFO and that will resolve the issue one way or another’.’’ He claimed credible UFO witness statements had come from dozens of near-misses with planes, police helicopters and RAF jets in recent years. Any alien battles with the RAF will be kept secret, the public won’t know unless it comes down in a heavily-populated area." He added: "I do believe we will bring one down. We’re developing increasingly sophisticated weapons." Mr. Pope also rubbished the MoD’s stance that UFOs pose no danger to the public. "But if they haven’t investigated, how do they know it poses no threat? "They will try to play it down by talking about flying saucers and little green men. But there are MPs and ministers and a faction of the MoD who do believe in UFOs." 　Russian News - U.S. Scientists Unveil NASA’s Secrets

Pravda reports, The former manager of the Data and Photo Control Department at NASA’s Lunar Receiving Laboratory during the manned Apollo Lunar Program, Ken Johnston, has released quite a number of sensational statements. The specialist said that U.S. astronauts found ancient ruins of artificial origin and a previously unknown technology to control gravitation when then landed on the Moon. Astronauts took pictures of the objects that they found, but NASA ordered Johnston to destroy the images. Johnston did not follow the order. He said that the U.S. government had been keeping this information a secret for 40 years.

Johnston's startling Apollo allegations have recently appeared in a new book, "Dark Mission: the Secret History of NASA." The low quality pictures included in the book depict ruins of buildings, huge dome-like objects made of glass, stone towers and castled hanging in the air. Ken Johnston said, "I have nothing to lose. I have quarreled with NASA and I got fired."

Russia, China, Japan and India have craft ready to launch or are now circling the Moon. Russia’s booster rocket maker, Energia, will build a base to develop the industrial production of helium-3 a powerful for the nuclear synthesis. Only six tons of this fuel would provide enough energy to power a large country for one year. Mars Storm Front

Dust clouds often can obscure the surface of Mars. When an image captures the edge of a dust storm front the loss of surface information is more than compensated for by the information that can be gleaned from analysis of the image. This photo was taken over 66.2 N, 248.7 E, on January 23, 2009. Thanks to NASA/JPL/MOLA.

We are told there is no atmosphere on Mars. How does a storm front form and move across Mars without an atmosphere, wind, etc? Last September NASA signals from the Phoenix Lander detected the snow falling lightly from clouds two miles above Mars surface, said James Whiteway, an atmospheric scientist from York University in Canada. His Lidar instrument - an acronym for laser detection and ranging - on the spacecraft shoots a green laser beam up into the clouds 100 times a second, and the falling snow reflects brightly in each pulse. Peter H. Smith of the University of Arizona, said the spacecraft's mobile robotic digging arm has confirmed that there's a "skating rink" of water ice a little more than 2 inches below the red soil. There is an old adage, where there is water there is life.

The scientists, Carol Stoker and Larry Lemke of NASA's Ames Research Center report there are methane signatures, signs of possible biological activity similar to those recently discovered in caves here on Earth. Stoker and other researchers have long theorized that the Martian subsurface could harbor biological organisms that have developed unusual strategies for existing in extreme environments.

New Attorney General Faces UFO Diplomacy Dilemma

Eric Holder was confirmed as Attorney General and first African American to head the Department of Justice in U.S. history. Holder will need to respond to London’s Mayor Boris Johnson request to President Obama to drop all charges by the Department of Justice against a British computer hacker seeking UFO files. In 2002, Gary McKinnon was charged for hacking into a series of computers in NASA, and other sensitive military locations. McKinnon claimed he was seeking information on UFOs and says he found files dealing with "non-terrestrial officers" and "fleet-to-fleet transfers" involving ships not on any U.S. Navy registry that are likely space ships. Not impressed by McKinnon's internet snooping for UFOs the U.S. Department of Justice began extradition proceedings and he stands on the verge of being extradited to the U.S.

If the McKinnon is extradited and the case goes to trial it may be one of the most important cases of the century. Lawyers would likely defend McKinnon using the arguments presented in the Disclosure Project that NASA was hiding and destroyed evidence of UFOs in our skies and the alien presence on the Moon and Mars. During his seven year battle against extradition, McKinnon gained increasing public sympathy in Britain and Mayor Boris Johnson wrote, "Belief in little green men – doesn't make him a terrorist."

Attorney General Holder might be advised to consult with fellow cabinet member, Hillary Clinton over at the Department of State about the conspiracy to withhold the truth about UFOs. Alabama - Strange Object Caught On Video

SATSUMA - Posted: January 31, 2009, On December 2, 2006, I was out in the back yard playing with the dogs, and decided to catch some video of them and I stood under a overhanging oak limb which blocked the morning sun from my eyes at 10:30 AM. Upon blocking the sun by the oak tree an object became apparent in the sky and took the video which I am attaching to this report.

California - UFO Caught on Film Close to Jet Airliner

HUNTINGTON BEACH -- On January 31, 2009, I saw this object over Westminster and Springdale streets in California. The white/silver thing had vanished so I put away my video camera and went back to my yard work. Then I saw the blue/green translucent worm. It was morphing and moving, these colors were like nothing I’ve ever seen. I went back inside and grabbed the video camera again.

I managed to get some of this one on DVD tape, but the colors are not as intense as watching it live. Again the wind was out of the west, and this object is moving against the wind to the west. I called my wife out so she could see it too. It would stay stationary for a while then it would go up or down in my sky and go east sometimes then west. This was a perfectly clear day, and after this one vanished after 20 minutes, I saw a strange black, two engine jet fly over where the two objects had both been. MODESTO -- R. David Anderson writes on February 2, 2009, I took this photo of an object that was moving very rapidly overhead. I saw something similar to this moving at higher altitude earlier in the day. I went and got my camera and was watching to see if this object might return.

I spotted it once again moving rapidly along the eastern horizon towards the north. It suddenly turned, doing a 45 degree maneuver in a matter of seconds, and then it streaked across the sky on a westward track, going directly overhead. It moved much faster than any aircraft I've ever seen. It was amazing to see how fast it went and turned. I have a photo and an enlargement of the object. Thanks to R. David Anderson

Florida - Big Octagonal Shaped Grayish Metal

PALM BAY -- My wife and I were coming home from the store on January 20, 2009, at 7 PM when I saw six orange- yellow- whitish large strange lights approaching from the northwest. As it got closer and turned slightly to cross our path, I saw the lights were on the front and back, 3 – 2 respectively and arranged in an odd pattern. It passed quietly in front of us, we saw a very big octagonal shaped grayish metal object moving very slow. All of a sudden a fighter jet screamed by a few hundred feet under it. We were leaning out of our van to see it and tried to chase it. It must have sped up dramatically because the jet was chasing it towards the southeast and it was really moving. My wife saw it, but they were going too fast and we lost sight of them. One other strange thing the whole neighborhood had a blackout power outage for 30 – 45 seconds about 15 minutes after the sighting.

Note: The witness provided a very detailed report and some has been deleted to enhance clarity. The witnesses seem to have been close enough to the object to determine its characteristics. The pursuit by military jets is interesting. The pursuit could have been a "scramble" because the military would not be conducting exercises over a populated area. ST. PETE BEACH -- Carl Feindt Delaware MUFON State Director received this October 8, 2008 e-mail, "I caught this from Sky 9 webcam local Tampa Bay news channel shot from the Tradewinds Resort of this little disc-shaped UFO coming out of the clouds. It left a little hole in the cloud it came from, and bounced on the water, and took off." I tried to get the best pictures I could. The time on the video was 11:11:20 a.m. Carl writes, "Although the UFO was larger than the bathers, I couldn’t determine if it was anything more than a ball being thrown within the view of the camera, or indeed a UFO. The person I am calling the witness is NOT in reality a witness to the event, but to a video. In this one you can see the UFO just popping out of the clouds, seconds before hitting the water. Note that there are at least 6 people on the beach in close proximity. I think someone must have been an eyewitness since there was a splash. The witness has the advantage over me as these clips are digital, and enlarging the clip shows very little because it becomes more distorted. Editor’s Note: Many people have reported UFOs making holes in clouds. Generally, aircraft do not make holes as the air flows around the wings and fuselage. NASA scientist Paul Hill writes on Page 182, of his "Unconventional Flying Objects" book. "Strangely, even paradoxically, constant-density potential flow theory is adequate to study the flow field in a region ahead of and around the UFO at supersonic speed because, as I soon discovered, the use of a force field to control the airflow can eliminate air compression as air approaches the body." UFOs apparently use a force field to move the air molecules around the aircraft. Proof of this is the hole left in the cloud. Aircraft reaching the speed of sound create large sonic booms and generally develop a cloud around the craft even in clear air as shown in this F-18 photo. UFOs may also use energetic particle ejection in their propulsion system that might create a hole in a cloud.

Georgia - Investigations

Tom Sheets, State Director MUFONGA, reports:

ATLANTA/DEKALB COUNTY -- A male resident reported that he and his wife had just parked in front of their office on January 4, 2009, when he observed three grey metallic objects in the afternoon sky. Size is estimated as like a grain of rice i .e. perhaps 1/8 of a full moon or smaller. These seemed to be close to the underside of the lowest layer of clouds, floating slowly to the NE in unison, with a slight wobble. Witness took a photo with his iPhone for CMS submission. ASD Ralph Howard established initial contact, but after 10 Jan, the witness stopped communicating. Using normal methods and under similar conditions, Ralph easily replicated a similar control photograph. Ralph wishes to advise our FIs that such a submitted photo, unsupported by a reliable witness and the accompanying technical data, is worthless for our investigative purposes

BALL GROUND -- An adult male resident had picked up his 15 year old son and was driving home on January 9, 2009, at 7:15 PM, when they observed an array of three lights, bright white, dimmer white, and red. These were moving in single file horizontally from S to NW and were observed for about 10-15 seconds before vanishing. The witnesses had the impression of a large object, like a 747, seemingly silent and within 200 yards in distance and at about 1000 feet in altitude. Shortly after, the witnesses stopped at a local store, a 18 year old student related that he'd also observed a similar configuration of lights at less than 1000 in altitude. Even in darkness, this witness had the impression of a large object, horizontally flat and perhaps circular, stationary over the town of Ball Ground, lasted about 30 seconds as the lights then slowly moved to the west and vanished. This was an exceptional case with three witnesses, one being separate, observing what is believed to be the same event, their accounts being vetted by SSD Steve Bass' excellent field investigation.

SAVANNAH -- A U.S. Army recon specialist was driving into Hunter Army Airfield on January 23, 2009, at 6:10 PM, when an unusual glowing blue/white to blue/green spherical object flew right in front of his vehicle from the NW traveling at a tremendous speed. This object was observed to move upwards, stop, then accelerate to the SE, being lost from sight as it crossed the river. Each acceleration was accompanied by electric-like trails. This occurred within under one mile from the witness, his vehicle's cruise control shutting off and the engine "hiccuping", lights dimming as if the engine was shutting off.

Coastal ASD Dave Marchant has met with the witness and found that his Army associates had recommended that he contact MUFON. Note that this is the latest of several recent such events near or over a Georgia Army installation. The others being at Fort Gordon near Augusta. Dave and the Coastal crew have been compiling information on these events for several weeks now and as usual, Coastal is on top of things.

LEESBURG -- An adult female was walking her dogs when they ran out of the darkness and sat on her feet as if frightened on January 14, 2009, at 9:15PM. She then observed a large brilliant white light with an orange halo fly from NE to SW at what she thought was a relatively low level about 300 feet away. It vanished beyond nearby trees. She estimated it was larger than the military helicopters she observes from the nearby Albany USMC Logistics Base. This writer contacted the witness by phone for a preliminary evaluation and to prepare for dispatching an investigator. The next AM, the witness phoned back stating that she recalled that the object was hovering, and she may have walked toward it. She was then instructed to focus on this additional memory, and describe it in e-mail, but no supplemental information has been received and we have been unable to contact the witness.

MCCAYSVILLE -- An adult male college graduate, along with three other credible witnesses, one a scientist, on January 21, 2009 at 8 PM, north of Blue Ridge. The Primary Witness (PW) received a phone call so moved outside for better reception and observed an unusual light. He got his binoculars and continued to observe, calling his parents for their opinion. He then quickly moved to get a better view and assisted by his uncle, a telescope was erected and observation continued. The object/light was observed for about 2+ hours at about 26° during which it remained still, then it began to move off to the left of the PW. Displaying a sudden burst of extraordinary speed it then reversed direction and in the manner of a meteor departed in a "split second". This object was described as being circular with the top portion changing to a triangular shape, about quarter size (about 2½ full moons), hovering, with pulsations of the spectrum colors being exuded, especially red and green, with a yellow color flashing sequentially, while it seemed to be spinning. This was an exceptional event. FIs Mark and Leslie Moore of Blairsville applied their deep scientific background in the measurement process and interviewing phase, thus eliminating the mundane possibilities and classifying this as an Unknown-UAV. Indiana - UFO Photo

TERRE HAUTE - Reported January 31, 2009, I was watching sky in my Mom’s backyard which is where I've seen all the recent phenomena. I saw it streaking across eastern sky and photographed it as it flew from north to south. I clicked off three photos and it disappeared. It was too fast for a plane, so was probably a UFO. Mississippi - Light

COLLINSVILLE -- I was visiting my brother on January 7, 2009, who lives in a mobile home in the middle of a pasture. My brother and his best friend noticed a large star that was just over the tree line that looked like a tear drop diamond.

We are all strong Christians and have never believed in aliens, but I began to notice red streaks coming out of the bottom. I kept thinking that my eyes were playing tricks so I turned away and looked back only to see red and blue colors coming from this bright light. The light was moving left very quickly but never moved far enough to disappear behind the trees. My brother got out his video camera and began filming. The movements were, diagonal, side to side and up and down and more noticeable. My brother and his friend began walking toward the light and it started to BACK AWAY. My sister-in-law and I screamed it was leaving and the guys froze in fear and we literally watched this ball of light back away until it was out of sight. Pennsylvania -Triangle Photo

SCRANTON -- My husband and I left a restaurant near Scranton PA, on January 24, 2009, on the way home from upstate NY, and noticed a very, very ,very bright star. It seemed to have moved around in the same area for about 5 minutes or so. It did not appear to be an airplane or a helicopter...it was way too high up. Texas - Five Lights Zip Away

DENTON -- The witness called a day after the sighting on January 28, 2009, and was quite excited by what he saw a few miles north of Dallas, around 7 to 8 PM. He saw five lights in a formation that look somewhat like bright stars to the south. He then went inside to get his wife and then his neighbor to look at the lights. The lights then started to individually zip away to the west and disappear. The lights did this individually until all five were gone. The witness thought that the lights behaved intelligently. He attempted to take a photo, but said that the lights did not show up in the photo.

Note: I interviewed the witness for about 15 minutes. He seemed familiar with conventional aircraft and said that aircraft were airborne at the time that the lights were sighted. He stated that the lights hovered for about 10 minutes before departing in strange fashion "one by one." Given the description provided by the witness I have no explanation for what was sighted. ROANOKE -- I am sending some pictures which were taken in my pasture on September 20, 2008 about two weeks ago. It is a black circle about 15 feet across and it was "hard to wash off." I would like to know what you think? My husband got up at 3 AM to go to the restroom. He said that it was "real light" out, but he didn't look out although he wish he had.

Additional Information Obtained From Witness: The circle is gone. It rained two inches and washed it away. My husband took some samples right after we first noticed the circle, but we haven't had any luck finding someone to analyze them. We first noticed the circle the morning after my husband saw the bright light (in the direction of the circle). The black residue around the circle was "kind of frosted" and glowed somewhat.

Comments: The fact that a black circle appeared right after a bright light was sighted suggests that something may have landed or some type of radiation or heat process burned a circle in the ground. The weather conditions at nearby Dallas certainly do not indicate that the circle could have been burned by lightning because no thunderstorms were in the area. I have made arrangements to obtain the samples taken by the witness. These samples will be sent to a professional chemist and analyzed. Updates will be posted. Chemical analysis has been completed by organic chemist Phyllis Budinger. Analysis indicates that ring could have possibly formed due to high heat process based on the fact that the area of the ring residue has less moisture and more crystallization than outside the circle although these conclusions are somewhat speculative.) Utah - Disc in Photo

SALT LAKE CITY --We took a picture of my friend Trevor on December 14, 2008, and in the top left corner of the picture the object is seen. We never saw the picture with our own eyes only in the picture. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Field Investigator and professional photographer Steve Cohen analyzed the photo and reports, " The UFO and photo of the young man appear to be real, however the two photos appear to be merged. The two different whites in the cloud and UFO photo and the pixels do not match.

　Washington - Two Discs

ISSAQUAH -- The witness was taking photos of rain showers towards the Cascade Mountains to the East: 3 to 4 PM. She was captivated by the rainbow and wanted to take a photo. She took a total of four photos in April or May, 2006. The first photo shows the rainbow. The second (taken about 2 minutes later) shows the two flying saucer objects. (The other two photos are not shown, but only show the rainbow.) She did not notice the flying saucers until downloading the photos to her computer. She only recently discovered the saucers in her photos when she downloaded old photos taken from the past 2 to 3 years.

Note: I interviewed the witness in person and have no reason to suspect that the photos were hoaxed. The witness did not know how to email photos so she presented them to me in person. Subsequently the witness obtained some technical assistance from a friend and emailed the digital copies of the photos to me. Four photos were taken within a five minute period but only one shows the saucers. If these photos are authentic, they are some of the best that I have ever seen of unknown flying objects. The photos were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 775 digital camera. The maximum resolution of this camera is 2 mega-pixels. The photos are not reflections from window glass because all photos were taken outside in cool weather. Also why did the objects only show up in one photo? There is no discernable change in lighting in any of the four photos. Could the saucers be a reflection of the sun off of the wet pavement? I don't think so! Canada – 551 Sightings for 2008

SCARBOROUGH -- I had just come across this photo taken December 5, 2008 at 11:39 AM, at work. I had blocked the sunlight rays, facing south towards Lake Ontario and my digital camera has captured an odd row of white light anomalies. Base of how they are in position. I do wonder, if it may be one large craft that is cloaked [invisible]. There is a major hydro line south about half a mile away. Might well explain the dark helicopter activity, that followed me around at lunch on December 15th 2008. In examining the attached photo. One DOES wonder, how much is really up there- we don’t see! CALGARY - I was watering the plants in the garden on January 4, 2009, just before dusk and became aware of a strange silence, and the only way I can describe it is that it was anti-sound. I looked up and saw a large triangular object sort of sliding in a curve about 200 feet above the house that was 30 to 50 meters across. It was gun metal grey and had 4 lights on the underside. A large orange one in the center and 3 white ones on the rounded corners. When I realized it was not a low flying conventional aircraft I dropped the hose and ran inside to get my mobile phone to photograph it. I was gone for literally 10 seconds but when I returned it travelled a mile and was disappearing fast. Thanks to MUFON CMS

　　France –UFO Video

My father's acquaintance from a U.S. Air Force squadron in the same Group as my Dad's (I believe it was the 32th Troop Carrier Squadron) sent him a short DVD converted from 8mm movie footage shot in 1957 of a flight of C-119 cargo planes in formation. The camera is pointing at a non C-119 aircraft with an oval object that at all times is changing its relative position in a smooth way which seems to indicate it is flying and maneuvering with the plane. It first appears in the lower right of the frame, and subsequently moves to positions in front of, below, and above the cockpit of the framed plane. The object seems illuminated by the same light and shadow as the planes and none of its movements suggest that it is connected to the interior of the camera or host plane. It appears the object is almost the diameter of the framed plane’s fuselage. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Germany – German and US Fighters on Red Alert

An unidentified object has been observed going at great speed across the whole of Germany. Axel Raab of Germany’s air traffic safety office, the DFS, said: "We have ruled out all the conventional possibilities — it is a mystery." Crack Luftwaffe Tornado Interceptor pilots were scrambled in a UFO drama over German airspace, it emerged today (Thursday). Numerous people also reported their sightings on the 19th of January.

Radar control monitors were chaotic, unable to keep track of the activity due to it flashing on and off their screens. Freak weather, planes, and weather balloons were not the cause. The defense security has investigated all the predictable possibilities and says it was a mystery. It was last logged above the grounds of a base still actively used by US troops for training exercises, before instantly disappearing. Thanks to the UK Sun.

MAHARASHTRA STATE -- I had been to Yavatmal on January 24, 2009, waiting for my friend at his factory and saw this very slowly drifting extremely shiny object in the sky at 12:06 PM. I thought maybe it was a weather balloon, but it was bright and shiny and reflected light like foil. This thing looked like a perfect shiny sphere. The picture is taken from a Cannon Power Shot A560 zoomed to the maximum digital 16x. It does make it shaky and difficult to catch an object so far away on the LCD screen. A few seconds later it picked up speed going west, and the wind was in the opposite direction. It kept on accelerating gradually and then it stopped and got even brighter. Two workers asked me what it could be. Then at one point it stopped and it started shrinking in size rapidly and was gone. This is the only shot that I have taken.

Note: The object could be a balloon rising which could account for its changes in speed as it rises into stronger winds higher up in the atmosphere. However, the color does not resemble a normal weather balloon. The time of the sighting was 5:36 AM Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT). Weather balloons are normally launched at 00:00 and 12:00 GMT around the world so it is unlikely that the object was a weather balloon. The details in the enlarged photo do not suggest a weather balloon as no "tether" carrying an instrument package is evident. Thanks to William Puckett UFOS

RZESZÓW -- On January 7, 2009, AT 6:20 PM, I was driving and almost reached Rzeszów, when I and three other people saw a metal circle 'round' above a hill. It was 30 meters in wide and long. It was 60 meters above the hill and had bright blue lights on bottom. It moved as slow as a bird at first, and then as fast as jet plane later. It made a small amount of steam and there was no noise. Spain –Flying Triangle

MALAGA – Sighting reported on January 30, 2009. I had just got back from work and was watering the plants in the garden just before dusk and became aware of a strange silence like anti-sound. I looked up and saw a large triangular object sort of sliding in a curve about 200 feet above my house. It must have been 30 to 50 meters across. It was gun metal grey and had four lights on the underside; a large center orange one and three white ones on the rounded corners.

When I realized it was not a low flying conventional aircraft I dropped the hose and ran inside to get my mobile phone to photograph it. I was gone for ten seconds but when I returned it had travelled about a mile away towards the horizon and was disappearing fast. Then, when it was just a small dot in the distance it shot off at an 11 o'clock angle into the sky at impossible speed and was gone. I didn't manage to take a photo. But it looked very similar to the attached picture. Thanks to MUFON CMS

　UK/England - Sightings

GREENWICH --ANOTHER sighting of an unidentified flying object has been reported to News Shopper, this time in Greenwich. 29th January 2009 at 7:45 AM Thursday John Malkin spotted a strange light in the sky on both Saturday and Sunday night. He said: "Me and my son were at home in North Greenwich when we saw the orange/yellow light moving quite fast towards the river." Yesterday, News Shopper reported on the sighting of two strange lights in the sky over Mottingham on Monday night. Mr. Malkin sent a video clip showing what he saw, lights in the sky over Mottingham on Monday night. Have you spotted anything odd in the sky in the past few nights? WOODHALL SPA, LINCOLNSHIRE -- Christopher Montgomery, Director UFORC writes, "There has been a recent upsurge in UFO reports coming from Lincolnshire. I would have to classify this as a close encounter of the second kind (CE-II) It involves a dramatic sighting of an UFO on December 30, 2008, around 01:20 AM, for 15 minutes. The eyewitness stated: "Within minutes the object declined to an altitude of 20,000 feet. At this height it was clear enough to see that it wasn't a single light but two very close lights on the base of two separate cylinders. At this stage the object was roughly four miles away.

As the object came closer it decreased its altitude by about 3000 feet per minute. We were all viewing from inside my friend’s house two miles SE of Woodhall Spa as the object continued to decrease its altitude until it reached roughly 900 to 1000 feet at which point it leveled out. At this altitude, it slowly went across a field half a mile to the side of the house making a very quiet humming sound followed by short erratic clicking sounds. All of us who went outside to look, woke up with pains in our shoulders and lower back and red itchy skin on out foreheads and nose, ears and backs of hands. It looks a little like sunburn, but is a little more swelled up than that."
