The

Keith Laney has discovered a large geometric grid on Mars that,
more than any such feature detected so far, resembles the foundation
of a terrestrial city. The regularity of the
lines is remarkable, and suggests intelligent design. Could this
be a geological phenomenon? If so, it appears to be the first of
its kind.

on the previous page. This is a significant find, given the predominance
of hexagonal formations on the Martian surface. Additionally, Mark
Kelly and Chris Joseph have detected two more hexagons in Cydonia,
both north of the Face. If the
apparent hexagons are "real," as they appear to be, could
they be remnants of technological structures such as phased array
telescopes or solar power stations? Alternatively, could the newly
discovered hexagon on the Face be a decorative element, similar
to a bas-relief? The radial cells described in
the previous article suggest a functional interpretation for the
western "eye." (Rather than a single anomalous "bump,"
the "eye" seems to be a virtual complex of complementary
anomalies.) The "disk" above the "eye" features
a fine-scale chaotic texture lacking on other exposed surfaces on
the Face's western half, suggesting now-vanished design elements.
It's possible that the hexagon and radial cells served similar functions,
if we are in fact looking at the remains of an "observatory"
or power station of some kind. Only future images and exploration
can settle this matter. There is no doubt that erosion has taken
an extreme toll on the Face formation. However, there remain enough
geometric peculiarities to warrant methodical study. Most interestingly,
these peculiarities seem interrelated: an indication of conscious
design as opposed to blind natural forces.
Determining the purpose of these apparent structures will allow
us to address the nature of the Face's hypothetical creators with
lucidity and scientific
restraint.
The
new (partial) picture of the Cliff released in 2001. This photo shows
the facial features postulated below to be nonexistent. The straight,
elevated defile, however, remains mysterious. A portion of the "plowed
terrain" is visible, suggesting possible quarried ejecta (see
website).
The Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) team saw
dark spots on defrosting dune surfaces in August and September of
1998.
More
recent images from 1999 have shown the south polar frosts with similar
melting. The polar caps melt during this period. This picture below
shows a small portion of the giant dune field that surrounds the
north polar region, as it appeared on August 23, 1998.
At the time, it was early northern spring and the dunes were still
covered with winter frost. The darkness may not only be caused by
the melting of water. It is possible that some type of simple plant
life, moss or the like is growing.
Some
photographs showed objects with structure in this general area.
Attached
is the full photo that Malin took of the Northern Hemisphere of
Mars on 1/1/00. If you scroll down about 2/3 of the way, you will
see a lightened valley between two higher land masses. In the
left side of the valley, you can clearly see several possible
geometric structures. The pic. on this email I am sending you,
is the enhancement of this area, and in the middle you can see
two possible structures. this is what we need enhanced, to clear
up the structures to see what they are in this valley. The valley
may have other items also. Do you know of anyone who can professional
enhance this for us? It would be a wonderful discovery for mankind
if it is artificial, but if not artificial, at least we would
know .

ET CAPTURING OUR MARS SPACECRAFT?
One of the few scientists who ever studied UFOs, was Germany's
world-famous father of rocketry, Professor Hermann Oberth. After
three years of studying the information supplied by his own and
other governments, the outspoken Oberth said at a news conference
in 1954: "There is no doubt in my mind that these objects (UFO's)
are interplanetary craft of some sort. I am confident that they
do not originate in our solar system, but they may use Mars or
some other body for a way station." MUFON's Antonio Huneeus interviewed
him later and Oberth said he stood by his statements. His comments
have new meaning based on the Mars Polar Lander failure and the
September failure of the Mars Climate Orbiter. It is a total loss
for the entire, $330 million Mars '98 project, which consisted
of Polar Lander, the Deep Space 2 microprobes and the Climate
Orbiter. Doesn't it seem strange that two out of every three of
Earth's space probes going to Mars fail? You might remember we
lost the billion dollar Mars Observer spacecraft in 1993, just
as it was about to go into orbit. That gave NASA a wakeup call
particularly since the Russian probes at met a similar fate. I
suggest that Dan Goldin and NASA review the March 28, 1989, images
showing a huge cylinder shaped craft intercepting the Soviet Phobos
2 spacecraft. The UFO interceptor is very similar to the ones
reported by hundreds of witnesses here on Earth. We have multiple
witness reports including pilot reports, videotapes and photos
of these objects. ET may be waiting near Mars to capture or knock
out our probes, but they are also here on Earth.

NASA realized it's kind of tough to reveal to the American public
that we're losing billion dollar spacecraft to ET, even if they
do pay for allot of scientists. So they did the next best thing.
They cheapened the cost of spacecraft so American taxpayers only
lost $157 million dollars for the Mars Polar Lander. Let's face
it, NASA is in a tough spot. Congress may get upset with failed
space probes and cut NASA's budget even further. It's tough to
blame the failed probes on ET, so they have to admit they made
some sort of a mistake. NASA continues to search for life on Mars.
However, the fact that only a few of our space probes succeed
provides evidence that something is out there. These Filer's Files
costs nothing and operate on a shoe string, but we're apparently
getting closer to proving intelligent life exits in the universe
than NASA. Of course we have the services of a lot of
dedicated MUFON, ISUR, National Reporting Center, Skywatch and
other volunteer investigators. Ufolgists are getting better evidence
each day. Imagine the kind of videos we could get with a few million
dollars. The Filer Research Institute would be happy to consult
with NASA and give them some techniques for getting past the ET
defenders. NASA Administrator Daniel Goldin said, "It is conceivable
that we will completely change our approach.
"If I was Dan Goldin, I would want to get out the old Phobos 2
images and learn by the Soviet mistakes and a few of ours. According
to Colonel Maria Popovich the Phobos infrared cameras picked up
a great deal of heat in certain key areas indicating possible
underground facilities on Mars. When the Soviet probe was ready
to go into orbit of the Martian moon Phobos, an unidentified flying
object came up to meet their craft. The ET welcoming team apparently
captured the Soviet probe. If you assume ET actually exists your
whole approach to visiting Mars changes. Other Mar's missions
are now in preparation and much could be done to get them through
the ET defenses. Dan Goldin admits privately something is out
there. I suggest it might be time to start looking for evidence
ET is visiting Earth and Mars on a regular basis. NASA might even
want to start examining those so-called ice crystals they keep
spotting near the Space Shuttle. Those ice crystals are making
90 degree turns, fly over thunderstorms and suddenly stop. These
objects defy the laws of physics if they are not intelligently
controlled. It seems odd that our astronauts operating the space
shuttle cameras spend time zooming in on these disc shaped ice
crystals?
I
suggest NASA look closely at some of their own videos. They might
be surprised at the evidence they have in their own files. The
Filer Research Institute will even work on a contingency basis.
NASA only has to pay expenses unless our craft get through to
Mars. We'll even check to see if your calculations are correct.
As a former USAF Intelligence Officer, I'm prepared to brief NASA
or anyone else on the ET intelligence situation. Its time to weigh
the evidence. We either have incompetent scientists at JPL and
NASA or something else is out there causing
these failures.

Alexey Kuzmin was responsable of the process with photo-information
that was gathered in 1988 during the "Phobos International Space
Project", that later has been used as support by conspiracy-followers
to the idea of previous/still life on Mars. A number of TV-shows
were produced in Russia about Alexey Kuzmin and the Phobus-project,
but none of these managed to cross the western border.
I
started out by asking Alexey Kuzmin how the cigarr-shaped shadow
(se picture to the left) did appear. This picture was taken by
the Phobus-2 probe just before groundcontrol lost contact with
it and it was lost. Alexey speaks, almost, fluid English, so I
have kept his word intact. The cigar shape shadow is the probe
shadow on the martian surface. It has such shape and size because
of the scanning mode of the instrument produced by.
The
instrument is the scanner with the slow scanning rate and it scans
the surface with using a probe moving. Therefore the cigare is
so big. Most of the people consider the Phobos-2 was lost because
of the mistake in the control and because of inperfect intellegence
of the on-board computer. I think the same. But there are the
persons who consider the probe was lost because of UFO influence.
There is no complete conclusion.
Who
belived that a UFO was the reason to the loss of the Phobus-2
probe? I don't know the belivers in UFO around Mars in IKI,
there were the guys, but they are not in IKI now.

by the other Mars-moon Dejmos (see picture to the left)? I have
an explanation to your picture with Phobos, because it's me who
produce it. The light vertical line is a defect of CCD matrix
- the sensor for the used TV system.
One
bright point is the hot pixel the CCD element with the wrong sensetivity.
The other bright dot could be Dejmos (the scientists calculate
it should be somethere at this place). I have no explanations
for the other strange effects, it could be artificial UFO, but
they can be the other kind of things. The situation in IKI (our
institute) is difficult enouth (as well as for the whole space
research in Russia) to work on the problems without the cocrect
results.
Some
of Russian probes were lost in the Earth orbit without detailed
explanation, but it's normal for the incidents with the complex
devices.

According
to NASA liason spokepersons in Moscow, the Soviets had not turned
on their camera and WERE NOT even taking pictures of the Martian
surface. This is the information which was relayed only a few
weeks ago. AP also stated that the Soviet news program "Vremya"
showed a detailed map of Mars "compiled from photos taken during
the mission." It DOES now appear that the Soviets WERE taking
pictures and furthermore, it looks like they may have found something
in those photographs which is quite interesting
