I discovered today that the Chinese had launched their first space ship this week. There has been nothing in our news media about it that I can find. The Shenzou-2 spacecraft took off Tuesday January 9. I found some photos online of the shot, and discovered a bell shaped object showing prominently in a picture of the ascent of the rocket. This bell shaped oddity turned up twice during STS-101 last May. I'm including an article and pix for you. This is an exclusive to Filer's Files.
